The Last Goodbye is an original autumn themed oil painting of autumn trees, a calm lake and two swallows just about to leave for Africa. It is 36x48x1.5 inches. The painting style is contemporary art nouveau and has multiple layers and glazes which make it look like a stained-glass window. This particular landscape was inspired by a reservoir and wildlife reserve called Weirwood near East Grinstead. I was there in September and saw the swallows skimming insects off of the surface of the lake ready for their long journey – hence the title. Painted on 3D canvas, edges painted the red purple, no frame needed, ready to hang. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEUBl2wzEUY
